
His focus is to expand SPS' strategic partnerships with organizations such as UPS, Oracle, and Accenture, and to develop new business relationships with SaaS, supply chain, logistics, technology and other outsourced supply chain services companies.
Mr. Novak has 18 years of industry experience in business development and sales at large software companies including Oracle, Siebel Systems, and Sterling Software, as well as emerging organizations including nQuire Software and Information Advantage. For the past seven years, Mr. Novak has successfully managed high-growth businesses in North America and the Pacific Rim.
Before joining SPS Commerce in 2007, Mr. Novak served as vice president of sales, North America - Business Intelligence for Oracle Corporation where he grew revenues by more than 50%. Prior to Oracle's acquisition of Siebel, Mr. Novak was Siebel's Vice President of Sales - Western U.S. and Asia Pacific for its business intelligence division. In this position he helped to establish Siebel as a leader in the Business Intelligence marketplace and was named Sales Leader of the Year. In this position, he was also responsible for strategic agreements with IBM, Microsoft, Sun, Cisco Systems and Hewlett Packard, and he established their business in Asia-Pacific, growing revenues from zero to $12 million in just two years.
