Quality Assurance (QA) firms understand the importance of close collaboration with their supply chain partners to ensure that retail customers receive the right product, in the right quantity, built to the right specification. QA firms also appreciate being in the loop about product quantities to understand how much testing is required.
Until now, QA firms either dealt with unwieldly manual processes or invested significant time and money in EDI software, related hardware, and staffing to achieve integration with their trading partners.
SPS Commerce’s outsourced EDI services eliminate the need for QA firms to build their own EDI infrastructure. With a multi-tenant, SaaS architecture, our EDI services offer greater reliability, visibility and lower total cost of ownership than traditional EDI software.
SPS Commerce enables QA firms to access real-time EDI information such as purchase orders and advance ship notices.
Our EDI service is available in three ways:
- Suppliers can give the QA firm limited, secure access into required EDI information via a WebForm, which can be accessed via a standard Web browser.
- Suppliers can directly integrate their business systems with those of the QA firm with our Integrated EDI service, so the QA firm receives a copy of all orders.
- QA firms that work with multiple supplier customers of SPS Commerce can get their own WebForm account to access EDI information from multiple suppliers.
